begining

the beginning of this book catches you up on earlier books in which the baudelaires {Violet, Sunny, and Klaus} run away from Count olaf and his troupe as they are in the trunk of a car with violet using another one of her amazing inventions to get them out of trouble they escape the trunk and eavesdrop on olaf they find out that Mme. LuLu is telling olaf where they are all the time they go to the trunk and sunny says "Nuts" meaning I dont think thats a good idea ya says klaus. Well, its a good idea because they use the disguises in the trunk to stay at the carnival and get answers they stay as freaks but Mme. LuLu  says that one freak will be thrown into  pit of lions... find out more in middle as the scared baudelaires face more!
